Wizkid – Morayo Album

The multiple Grammy-winning Nigerian artiste Wizkid has unveiled his debut album for the year, entitled Morayo.
This freshly launched collection, ‘Morayo album‘, encompasses 16 robust tracks and boasts collaborations with Asake, Jazmine Sullivan, Brent Faiyaz and others.
On another note, street-pop sensation Asake features on “Bad Girl“, a track dedicated to a romantic interest, whilst British-Nigerian producer P2J receives credits on several compositions, maintaining the well-established creative partnership with Wizkid.
French rapper Tiakola contributes to a multilingual exploration of love’s healing qualities on “Après Minuit“, and Wizkid reflects on his achievements in “A Million Blessings“.
At its core, Morayo represents an album celebrating the bond between Wizkid and his mother, showing how her faith established the foundation for his eventual dominance of Afropop—as evidenced by the lyric “Mama call me Ayo Balogun, they can never find another you” in the track “Pray“.
