Nigerian music powerhouses Olamide and Wizkid have released the official music video for their latest single, “Kai!”
The collaboration showcases an electrifying blend of Olamide’s raw energy and Wizkid’s smooth delivery, creating a vibrant Afrobeats anthem. Fireboy DML and Joeboy contribute subtle background vocals and co-writing credits, adding soulful layers to the track’s rich soundscape. Jyde Ajala’s direction masterfully combines urban aesthetics with polished choreography.
Produced by Eskeez and Semzi, “Kai!” serves as Olamide’s first official release of 2025, following his freestyle “Idan Buruku.” The colourful video meticulously reflects the song’s theme through imaginative scenes. This release also heralds Olamide’s upcoming 11th studio album, the self-titled “Olamide,” scheduled for June.
